Visa Balaji: The temple is popularly known as the Visa Balaji Temple because of the widespread belief that praying here helps devotees obtain visas, especially for travel to the United States. This belief has made the temple particularly famous among people aspiring to go abroad.
Devotional Practices: The temple does not accept any monetary donations. Instead, devotees offer prayers and circumambulate the sanctum sanctorum 11 times initially and 108 times after their wishes are fulfilled. This practice is unique and emphasizes devotion over financial offerings.
